WG-FM Guideline \u201cCyber Security in Building Automation\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

“Cyber Security in Building Automation” is a current topic of great importance. The Working Group Facility Management (WG-FM) of the BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) has therefore developed a guideline on this topic. <\/strong>The Public Review of the guideline followed in August 2024, which resulted in a great deal of feedback from industry circles. These were implemented in the Version 01 Status 09-24 available here (currently only in German).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

White Paper: The Legal Requirements of German GEG 2024 for Building Automation<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The amendment to the German GEG (Building Energy Act) was published in the Federal Gazette on October 19, 2023 and came into force on January 1, 2024. This new law is also referred to as \u201cGEG 2024\u201d. With the GEG 2024, a minimum level of automation and a requirement for cross-manufacturer communication was introduced for non-residential buildings for the first time. This BIG-EU White Paper (currently only in German) is dedicated to the requirements in the context of building automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
