Aachen, June 19, 2024 \u2013 The BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) held the 17th<\/sup> Plugfest in Amsterdam (Netherlands) from June 12 to 14, 2024. With 54 participants from 24 different companies, the event was a great success. The aim of the Plugfest was to test the communication between the participants’ devices via the BACnet protocol \u2013 including the latest generations of devices.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A particular focus was on secure data transmission with BACnet\/SC. In this area, the requirements of secure data transmission meet classic building automation, making the Plugfest an important platform for the further development and improvement of the interoperability of BACnet devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
